Realizing you’re at 35 weeks along (or more) and haven’t had the time to take a class? Eek! Well, in this no judgement but honest class we’ll break it down to the basics: labor stages, partner roles, if a doula is right for you, the curveballs of labor, and more. Taught not just by myself, but by a Certified Nurse Midwife, Jennifer Kratzer, this program – brought to you by BirthFocus – is sure to help answer questions. Please know you are always supported, no matter how far along you are.



2 Consecutive Saturdays, August 24th & 31st, MindBodySoul Yoga Healing Center (Washington Heights), 9:00am-1:00pm each

$250 per couple

Designed for 2nd (3rd or more!) time parents who need time to relax and think about …. THIS BIRTH. We will take this special time to enjoy this pregnancy, refresh ourselves on the stages of labor, positions and partner roles, while at the same time focusing on the unique challenges bringing a new member of the family poses to the current family structure. A special emphasis is placed on processing past births and preparing postpartum support. You won’t want to miss! (Please note: current children 5 and older are always welcome, as you wish.)

$100 per couple (childbirth refresher and weekend intensive students audit for FREE)

This is unlike any other breastfeeding class you will find. Join us as we go through the newborn care procedures post birth, explore the first hour of skin-to-skin contact, and explain the 5 essential keys to breastfeeding success. We also discuss why breastfeeding fails and identify ways to solve those issues.
