In August, 2012 our Executive Director, Elizabeth Mangum-Sarach, moved to Austin from New York City and launched BirthFocus Austin! Just a few months later, Caitlin Vestal, originally from Texas, moved from the NYC BirthFocus practice to Austin and joined our practice here as the Director of Doula Services!

Our practice continues to grow and we are very much looking forward to connecting YOU with the doula of your dreams! Our doulas are hand selected and will meet with you for a complimentary meet and greet OR at one of our “eat, drink, DOULA” events!

Whether you’re having a homebirth, giving birth at one of the wonderful Austin area birthing centers, or partnering with an OBGYN for a hospital birth we are here to provide you with the best doula care possible in Austin. Austin is full of incredible resources for the pregnant woman and her partner and we are happy to be able to join forces with this thriving community.  We are looking forward to meeting all of your needs for birth and beyond!
