Together, working as a team, our collaborative effort brings you the best option for your birth at an affordable cost. All doulas have been oriented to Beth Israel Medical Center and meet monthly for continuing education, support and discussion. All doulas have had additional training from Beth Israel Parent Education in hospital birth, breastfeeding, the immediate postpartum period, and bereavement. BirthFocus doulas at Beth Israel Medical Center have all been trained by nationally recognized certifying organizations.
