include the book, Hypnobirthing A Celebration of Life by Marie Mongan and two pre-recorded tapes. VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), sibling preparation and refresher classes are also available. The first session for all classes is $200 and any subsequent sessions are $175. Keeping the focus personal allows most clients to feel prepared with between two and four sessions.

private two-hour sessions held in your home.
Hypnobirthing® sessions
All classes are taught by Ilana Stein. With twenty years experience, Ilana's classes are rich with the techniques and methods she has taught and witnessed at births. She knows what works! Affiliated with the Bradley Method for fifteen years, and currently a certified Hypno-Birthing® instructor, Ilana's classes leave no stone unturned.
Nutrition, pregnancy discomforts and how to relieve them, how to choose a care-provider, consumerism, creating a birth plan; identification of priorities, coping with the fear of pain and complications, the stages of labor, physiology of labor, tools for getting through labor (positions, breathing, massage, hydrotherapy, relaxation, visualization, and Hypnobirthing®), risks and benefits of using medication for labor, explanation of obstetrical terms and procedures, breast-feeding, normal newborn care and taking care of yourself once the baby arrives.
Private Sessions
Childbirth classes, birth counseling appointments or hypnosis sessions can be scheduled during the day, evening or weekend in your home. Dates and times are flexible. Most clients find that three to four sessions is adequate to cover the material. Private sessions will cater to specific requests or can be used to narrow down issues and concerns. The sessions can be taped and the tape can serve as a practice medium in-between sessions, and in labor. Hypnobirthing® sessions include the Hypnobirthing® book by Marie Mongan and two Hypnobirthing® tapes.
